Our 2013 schedule conclused with a return to Defense, as Coach Shaun Weaver of Gettysburg College. Weaver  visited Coaches Corner. Weaver, who had recently been featured on a leading football coaching web site for his article on Linebacker Blitz Technique, coaches Linebackers and serves as Defensive Coordinator (entering his 7th year) at Gettysburg. Our Spring series of shows concluded with Mike Popovich, Head Football Coach at Mt. Zion HS in Decatur, IL visiting Coaches' Corner in our second June show .  Popovich, who previously served as the Offensive Coordinator with the US Army Sprint team , discusses the Tony Franklin system. With its roots in the Air Raid Offense, the Franklin system is gaining in popularity with High School and College programs across the country for its explosiveness, fast-paced play, and ability to light up the scoreboard. A great show that you will not want to miss.

Our first show in June featured Bud Boughton, aka Coach B, who discussed the "State of the Game" with Host John Anderson. Boughton, who is an author, motivational speaker, and currently an Assistant Football Coach at Franklin College in Indiana, was this year's featured luncheon speaker at the USA Football Coaching School held at the Indianapolis Colts Complex.

Lt. Colonel Mark West, Head Football Coach of the US Army "sprint" football team was our guest on Volume 75 of the Coaches' Corner show.    Coach West, now entering his fourth season as the Head Coach of Army's Sprint Football team and Host John Anderson cover a number of topics related to the position of Head Football Coach, including Decision Making and Leadership, Staff Evaluation and Professional Development. 

Coach West also shares the rationale behind his decision to implement the Tony Franklin Offensive system. An educational and entertaining show that has much to offer to High School Football Coaches, their players and even parents of High School Football players.

We opened the second quarter of 2013 with a show focused on Youth Football. Special Guest, Dave Cisar, discussed a number of topics related to today's Youth game and passed along ideas on topics from practice organization to developing a positive relationship between the Youth and High School programs in a community.

Also in April, we went deep into the "vault" for Volume 3 of Coaches Corner, featuring Larry Beckish, also known as "The 'Ol" Option Dinosaur.  Coach Beckish offers a number of tips, techniques and insight that can be helpful to coaches of any type of option football. 

In these and other shows in our Coaches' Corner football coaching podcast series, we offer a unique form of what we like to refer to as "edutainment" - education with an entertaining aspect to it. Coaches Corner Host and Producer John Anderson brings his professional radio personality,  background in coaching and a passion for football together - "mixing" humor, music and X's and O's in a special way  that results a first class, highly acclaimed production. 

Coaches Corner moved to a monthly production schedule, with special editions of the show, including The Mesh Point option football podcast appearing throughout the year.
