In our first July show, Coaches Corner Host John Anderson goes on location to Candler, North Carolina to visit with Coach Manny Matsakis, currently the Head Coach at Enka HS, where the two talk about the Triple Shoot Offense, its tough-to-defend Choice Routes, and a number of other topics. 

With a resume that includes stints in college football at places such as Texas Tech, Kansas State, Wyoming, Hofstra and Emporia State, and time in the Canadian Football League, Coach Matsakis is well known in coaching circles and shares a wealth of knowledge in this edition of Coaches Corner.   Listen Now

We wrap up July with a visit from Dan Pippin, Head Football Coach and Athletic Director at North Augusta HS in South Carolina. Coach Pippin shares some program building tips and philosophy, and then gets into some X's and O's on the basic 4-3 Defense, particularly the play of his Defensive front. A great show to wrap up the month, this one has something of value for any coach, whether a Defensive Coach or an Offensive Coach who would like to better understand the 4-3 scheme and philosophy.
