Web site refresh - Summer 2025
Despite being on hiatus from publishing podcasts, we have decided to maintain compusportsradio.com as a standalone web site to provide convenient and continued access to the 100+ shows that we've produced and distributed over the years.
To that end, we recently refreshed the site's design to make it more mobile-friendly and added 2 Podcast feed pages. Patterned after the feed technology that was recently added to our affiliate site, www.footballcoachingsites.com, these new feed widgets are a convenient way to keep up to date on the latest episodes of today's leading football coaching podcasts.
The Triple Gun Podcast was a pilot for an audio-only "podcast version" of the audio track from McNally Clinic presentation videos that we licensed from Coach Tony DeMeo.
Part 1 of the Triple Gun Podcast series is now complete, and consists of 4 episodes. Topics included in the first 4 episodes are The 4 Aces, Meaningful Stats, Formations, Motions, Offensive Line, Backfield and QB Play in the Gun Triple. The4 part mini-series concludes with Coach DeMeo providing an overview of running the play against even and odd fronts and 3 and 4 "shell" coverages..Collectively, the 4 episodes in Part I of this podcast seriesdeliver an edited and optimized-for-audio version of Coach DeMeo's 2 hour presentation at the McNally clinic.. Prior to the release of this new series, we had been on hiatus since 2019 after completing our 10th year of publishing and distributing football coaching podcasts.
Our most recent podcast was a "syndicated" show - a 9-part series from the co-founders of the Surface to Air system - The S2A podcast with Rich Hargitt and Rick Butler. In this show, Rich and Rick shared their thoughts on RPO's, Spread Offenses, and overall offensive football. Distributing syndicated shows like this are always of interest to us here at CompuSports Radio, as they are consistent with our vision of ourselves as a pioneer, producer and promoter of football coaching podcasts...what we originally thought of as "Talk Radio for Football Coaches".
Also a syndicated podcast, This Week in College Football was a slight departure from past shows in that it had a broad audience appeal to football fans as well as football coaches. Hosted by Tony DeMeo - a former guest on a number of Coaches Corner and Mesh Point shows, and later host of our Chalk Talk podcast series, This Week in College Football did a review/preview of the big games in College Football each week from a coach's perspective. Game reviews included a discussion of whether and how Meaningful Stats influenced the results of the featured games (Coach DeMeo explained his Meaningful Stats concept in his first appearance on Coaches Corner in Volume 72 ).
