 Coach Matthew Haney  is the former head football coach for Canton Middle School in Canton, NC, where he built a highly successful Junior High program.  Haney's record of 36 wins and 12 losses, 2 undefeated conference championship seasons and 2 runner up champion seasons was a major improvement for a school that only two winning seasons in its history.  Coach Haney attributes much of the success at Canton Middle to running the unique Double Wing offensive system, and a 46 style of defense .
